After Beta Ray Bill and Punisher, i made a simple stand for Cyclops as you may see in pictures. I did it in the same steps with those 2 figures and for pillar i use big straw covered by white cement. You may see the result in pictures i've attached as follow...
and beware of cyclops eye-beams.
Similar with Beta Ray Bill, in this comment i made a wall stand for Punisher. From three small pieces styrofoam i stick it together with styrofoam glue and tear the edge as you may see it in picture. No forget i cover it up three times with white-cement so it become hard and heavy enough. While cover it at second time i scratch the wall with toothpick to make brick texture. After let it dry i continue to cover it at the third times. Finished with first step i paint the wall with grey and brown poster paint and give two pieces of broken ice cream sticks on the floor. Two sheets of dirty poster may add on it too. In the last step to 'lock' the colour i carefully spray it with Pylox clear spray paint... try to keep dusty and not so glossy.
And then... as you may see, Punisher look so ready for ambush, right...

After a lot of work with diorama scenery id'like to work with my figures this time. My focus is Beta Ray Bill which similar with the Mighty Thor, god of thunder in Viking myth. To make it close with Thor i've made a hammer sculpt from a piece of wood and a mineral water straw for the holder. After paint it it with silver and brown wood paint you may check the hammer later. To make a stand base for him i sculpt rock from styrofoam in various detail. Then i covered it up three times with white cement. After it dry i continue with coloring it with black, grey, and a bit green poster paint. I also put a bit green foliage made from sponge-dust colored with green poster paint in several parts of it. For the last step i covered it up with thin clear spray paint to prevent the color scratched or smudged. After totally dry you may see how tough Beta Ray Bill stand on it complete with his hammer...

My lovely reader, i felt sorry to leave you for a while...
This time i'd like to show you the warmth of teenage gathering in CardCaptor Sakura, an anime film i don't really know... haha. I found the figures as keychain actually and imagine what terrain that fit with'em. After browsing a lot, i decide to design a small japanese house-terrace with small waterfall and sakura tree. As a fence behind sakura tree and bench i used several ice cream sticks and a piece of hard cartoon paper for the traditional japanese house-wall. The rocks behind waterfall was sculpt from styrofoam and paint it black and grey with poster paint. To create waterfall firstly i cover the rock with several pieces of plastics sheet. Second, i covered the plastic sheets with Fox white glue for wood that become transparent after dry. After 3 hours it dried and i continue with colouring step with white poster paint in several places to create wave effect and blue or green paint to create depth of the waves. After do minor for this and that you may see the result...
Sometimes i thougt that the golden age in our life is in teenage... sigh. Look how happy they are.. Aren't they cute...
In Pixar's animation we may learn about friendship, love, and adventure. For instance, in Cars we may see how interesting interaction between these cars characters, especially Lightning McQueen and Matter. I think they two hold main character than the other. The relation between Lighting McQueen who has full of optimist, power, and speed addicted stand beside Matter who has simple, funny, and easy-going character show us a good combination of friendship chemistry.
Different with usually i manage figures and standing base, or a simple diorama this time i manage cars and a simple Matter's old house scenery. To enlight their chats in the night i put a white-LED-light in a straw as a street old-rusty-lamp. Check it out..

There's a quote said that love will unit a lot of difference between people who love each other. In old time i believed that love is only for human, but this Pixar's film show me that love may find in robots.. or anything around us.. a new perspective that love is everywhere as God's bless, as long as we have an open heart to see it.
More or less this film shows that an old recycle-robot named Wall-E, fall in love to Eve, a state of art robot came from Axiom spaceship which explore of new life by search plant in a lot of planets. Wall-E really amazed by Eve because of her 'beauty' and sophisticated ability to search plant. After their thrilling adventure to go back to earth in Axiom Eve realized that Wall-E is not only an old junk robot but he also has 'heart'.. something impossible owned by robot as we think, and at last she loves him too.. and like many fairy tales, they live in happiness for ever and after..
When i go to Gardena store not intensionally i've caught by Wall-E and Eve keyholder and, like spidersense, i imagined to put it as a symbol of unity in diversity. After two days worked with styrofoam, ice cream sticks, straw, switch and wires, and colouring things.. I may show you my 'enlightment' about the existence of love from those robots. Enjoy...
To increase his ability and power Goku climbed Karin tower and drill by Master Karin a lot of exhausting kungfu lessons. 'Cause of power peanut Master Karin gave him, Goku's power and speed increase amazingly . To realize those scene you may check my simple figure-rama as follow. To show Goku's move i put a bit aquarium filter with tan-colored glued behind him.
Chayo, chayooo.. Goku, you can make it...
After booming Kungfu Panda in many cinema, i luckily found Panda figure and Master Shifu keychain at my retail store near my campus. After browsing a lot, i found a good background for their kungfu lesson. To prevent Panda fall and Master Shifu flying effect i used needle behind the figure so it stand perfectly. For damage carrying anticipation i use a box with plastic window so it still visible from outside. Another use from the box is it may be a yard in front of kungfu practise arena so you may put another figure to join, such as Master Snake, Master Tigress, and Master Crane.
A bit sorry 'cause i captured those figure-rama with cellular phone so the result was not so clear...
But the figure-rama is still eye-catching, eh...
The same terrain i also used for blue-Zaku and orange-Zaku. I put it side by side waiting to attack Gundam which will arrived. The comparison between Zaku and palm tree caught my attention then 'cause Zaku may 17m tall and palm tree??? Hmm.. better to make another terrain with a good comparison, huh...

With the rally terrain i could make it as a scenery with my mech collection. This time i put Gin and Gundam Blast Impulse face to face. After 3 days i've painted both mech i put it on the rally terrain like this...

In another day i manage several rally cars to compete in rally terrain. I design an A4 size diorama with styrofoam as rally base. After sculpting for a while i covered it with newspaper and glue. Take a time to dry then i continue with coloring it with tan-color mixed with sawdust. Usually i used small paintbrush to paint my terrain but this time i use sponge 'cause the area is wider than the first. Waiting for dry i plan to place a bit green foliage and palm tree at the corner. Then with styrofoam glue a place it carefully and cover several area with green sawdust. For smoke effect i colored a bunch of aquarium filter with tan-color. After all dry and place cars on terrain you may see the result...
When i came to Galeria mall for a simple shopping i've bought a Matchbox orange rally jeep with discount price.. uhuh.
Playing it with another Hotwheels cars inspired me to make a simple diorama with it but not too good if i join it with the others 'cause the Hotwheels cars wasn't design for rally. 'Cause there's mud paint covered on the side of jeep, i create a small dusty terrain for a small rally scene. Check it out...
Material: Matchbox rally jeep, a plastic palm tree, a bit green foliage, styrofoam, styrofoam glue, sawdust, poster paint, n a bit aquarium filter for dust effect.
Tool: cutter, ruler, small container for mixing poster paint n sawdust, paintbrush, n small pallete.
Hmm.. the bad man won't exist if the good man doesn't show, so i prefer make another figure to accompany him..
With a good luck, i found Batman with exo-skeleton mask, perhaps came from Batman Animation serial, a good figure to face the bad bad Joker. I bought it cheaply at a little action figure shop near my campus and i think it's not original either, ...but it's fine. Then, i make another standing figure for the Bat but a bit taller than the first and with the same small LED lamp with a small switch hide in the brown box behind him. You may see the comparison here..
Tadaaaaa...
Now the Bat has ready to rumble and the show may begin..
